Free Career Counseling in Wuppertal: No Appointment Needed on April 9

An open career counselling session will take place in Wuppertal on Thursday, April 9, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The event offers quick, straightforward advice for anyone looking to start their career or explore new paths. No appointment is needed to attend. The session will be held at the Wuppertal Career Information Center (BiZ) on Hünefeldstraße 10a. Organised by the Career Counseling Service, it aims to support a wide range of attendees, including school students, apprentices, high school graduates, and those considering alternative career options.

Participants can receive help with application portfolios, apprenticeship searches, and general career guidance. Maria Oberföll, from the Federal Employment Agency's Solingen-Wuppertal Career Counseling Service, will be involved in the event. Beyond this session, the Bundesagentur für Arbeit in the Wuppertal/Solingen region provides ongoing support. Offerings include *Tatort BiZ*, an interactive career event with employers like the police, customs, and hospitals. The *Woche der Ausbildung* (Training Week) runs from March 16–20, 2026, under the motto *'Gemeinsam mehr erreichen – Ausbildung starten'* for youth, parents, and adults. Additional services include a hotline (0800 4 5555 00) for phone and video consultations, as well as regular information events on vocational training and further education.

The open session provides direct access to career experts without prior booking. Attendees can expect tailored advice on apprenticeships, further education, and job applications. The event forms part of broader efforts by the Federal Employment Agency to support career development in the region.
