Four South Cotabato schools transformed by ML Cares Foundation upgrades
Four schools in South Cotabato have received major upgrades thanks to a new initiative by the ML Cares Foundation. The foundation provided modern technology and essential supplies to improve learning conditions at Little Baguio Elementary School and three other local schools. These schools were equipped with brand-new computer sets, including printers and scanners, unlike older donations. The foundation also installed lighted school signage and delivered basic supplies to support daily operations. At two of the schools—Camp 7 Elementary School and Manguilamon Elementary School—the initiative went further, launching feeding programmes to address student hunger. The project aimed to teach students that their starting point does not limit their future by improving access to digital tools and reducing teachers’ administrative burdens. The upgrades have already made a visible difference in the schools, providing students with better tools for learning and allowing teachers to focus more on instruction. The combined efforts of technology and nutrition support are expected to strengthen education outcomes in the region.
