Fazekas Mihály Tops Hungary’s 2026 National Secondary School Rankings Again
The 2026 National Secondary School Ranking has been released, evaluating more than 400 Hungarian institutions. Published on 11 December in a special issue of Mandiner, the list highlights the top-performing schools of the 2025/26 academic year. An awards ceremony will follow on 15 January 2026 at the Várkert Bazár in Budapest.
Fazekas Mihály Primary and Secondary Grammar School secured the top spot for the second year running. The ranking assesses schools using seven key indicators, covering institutional reputation, teaching standards, and talent development.
The rankings provide a detailed snapshot of secondary education in Hungary for 2025/26. Schools will receive formal recognition at the January ceremony, where Fazekas Mihály and other high achievers will be honoured. The expanded methodology and online tools offer parents and educators clearer insights into school performance across the country.
