Far Eastern Youth Media Summit 2025 Shifts Focus to Positive Storytelling

The second Far Eastern Youth Media Summit will run from October 1 to 3 at Vladivostok State University. This year's event features discussions on positive content and the shift from scandal-driven stories to real-life heroes. Organisers have now released the full programme for the three-day gathering.

The summit kicks off on October 2 in the university's 'Underground' hall. A key session, Creative Content: Meaning in the Era of Info Noise, will explore how media can highlight genuine achievements instead of sensationalism. Nikolai Krupatin will lead the plenary discussion.

The event builds on last year's inaugural summit, held in Vladivostok on November 7–8, 2024. Since then, two more industry gatherings have taken place in the Far Eastern Federal District in 2025. Alongside the media talks, a Book Fair will run throughout the *Literature of the Pacific Russia* festival. Confirmed speakers include Primorsky Krai Governor Oleg Kozhemyako, journalists Asya Efimova and Semen Pegov, and media figures Ksenia Knyazeva and Anastasia Sdobotchikova. International guests like Charlie Landu Kisalokele and Bogdan Elizov will also join the discussions.

The summit aims to shape how young media professionals approach storytelling in a crowded information landscape. Experts will examine the impact of positive content and its role in modern journalism. The event's outcomes may influence future media trends in the region.
