ETIH Innovation Awards 2026 to Honour Global Education Tech Trailblazers

The Education Technology Industry Honours (ETIH) Innovation Awards 2026 are set to recognise trailblazers in the education tech sector. The awards, celebrating excellence in global education technology, will be announced on 14 January 2026, with winners and finalists featured in the first print magazine of the awards at BETT 2026.

Organisations across the UK, the Americas, and internationally are invited to enter the awards, showcasing their measurable impact in various learning settings. Categories include 'Digital Platforms Connecting Learners with Real Outcomes', though current information does not reveal finalists or winners in this category.

The awards focus on workforce development, AI integration, and innovative learning solutions. Frederic Hebert, CPO at Rise Up, emphasises the importance of investment in learning for driving engagement and innovation, future-proofing business performance. Rise Up's 2025 State of Learning report indicates a shift in perspective, with 48 percent of L&D leaders now considering learning and development central to their business strategy, up from seven percent in 2024. However, many L&D leaders also reported reduced budgets and challenges in gaining board approval, with 40 percent reporting less than half of their initiatives receive approval.

The ETIH Innovation Awards 2026 aim to highlight the best in global education technology, despite industry challenges. With a growing recognition of the importance of learning and development, the awards offer a platform to celebrate innovation and excellence in the sector.
