Emmendingen honors 2025’s top trainees with €500 awards for excellence

Four young professionals have been recognised as the top trainees in Emmendingen District for 2025. The awards, presented by the Training Foundation of Emmendingen, celebrate excellence in apprenticeships across different sectors. Each winner received a €500 prize for their outstanding achievements.

The winners represent a range of industries. Marlon Sommer, an automotive mechatronics technician at Schmolck GmbH & Co. KG, took first place in the skilled trades category. His colleague, Jan Adomaitis, also from Schmolck GmbH & Co. KG, won in the retail sector.

The four winners were chosen for their dedication and performance in their respective fields. Their success reflects the ongoing strength of Emmendingen’s vocational training network. The €500 prize and public recognition aim to encourage further excellence among apprentices in the district.
