Dzhulustan Borisov: President Provided Clear and Understandable Analysis of Economic Situation
Yakutia has completed 207 key facilities over six years as part of 14 national projects. These include 78 healthcare centres, 45 schools, and 750,000 square metres of new housing. Now, the region is preparing for another wave of investment, with billions allocated for future development.
Between 2026 and 2028, Yakutia will invest 149 billion rubles in national projects. Of this, 116.3 billion rubles will come from the federal budget. The largest share—86.5 billion rubles—will fund the Infrastructure for Life initiative, aimed at improving roads, utilities, and public services.
Human capital development will receive 59.8 billion rubles by 2030. This funding will support education, healthcare, and social programmes. In 2025 alone, Yakutia’s budget for national projects stands at 33.9 billion rubles, with 24.4 billion rubles provided by federal funds. The Russian President recently reviewed the region’s economic progress, noting that Russia’s budget has returned to 2021 levels. During a press conference, he instructed Yakutia to maintain affordable and competitive energy prices. First Deputy Prime Minister Dzhulustan Borisov later praised the President’s remarks, calling the discussion substantive and respectful, particularly toward military personnel and their families. By 2030, Yakutia plans to launch 32 more major construction projects under its national initiatives.
The new funding will expand infrastructure, education, and healthcare across Yakutia. With federal support, the region aims to complete 32 additional projects by the end of the decade. These investments follow years of development that have already delivered hundreds of public facilities and modern housing units.
