Dhaka University’s Winter Book Fair Opens With Literary and Cultural Delights
Dhaka University's Dawah Circle has kicked off a four-day winter book fair at the Payra Chattar of the Teacher-Student Centre on campus. Twenty-eight publishers have set up stalls, offering a wide range of literature to explore. The fair, inaugurated by DU vice-chancellor Professor Niaz Ahmed Khan, runs until November 9, open daily from 10:00am to 9:00pm. Visitors can enjoy author-reader interactions, lively discussion sessions, soothing Quran recitations, engaging quiz competitions, and even receive free saplings. Despite our search, we couldn't find information about the authors participating in the discussion sessions. The winter book fair at Dhaka University offers a delightful blend of literary engagement, cultural activities, and eco-friendly initiatives. It's a fantastic opportunity for book lovers to indulge in their passion while also contributing to the environment.
