The Main Customs Office Magdeburg, a key part of the Federal Ministry of Finance, is set to host a Customs Information Day for students during the autumn holidays in 2025. This event aims to provide an insight into the fascinating world of customs work and present the office as an attractive employer.

The Customs Information Day will take place on two separate dates: October 16, 2025, in Halle (Saale), and October 23, 2025, in Magdeburg-Rothensee. The venue for the Halle event is the Main Customs Office Magdeburg, Merseburger Straße 196, 06110 Halle (Saale). The Magdeburg event will be held at the Main Customs Office Magdeburg's location at Ihleburger Straße 4, 39126 Magdeburg.

The event runs from 9 am to 2 pm and is open to all students who are aiming for at least a medium-level school leaving certificate, as well as those who already have a school leaving certificate (at least medium level).

During the day, students will get to know the different areas of the customs office and learn about the profession, training, and dual studies of a customs officer in small groups. They will have the opportunity to learn about a wide range of tasks performed by the customs office in Saxony-Anhalt.
