CUSM's 2026 MD graduates achieve 100% residency match success
Every graduate from California University of Science and Medicine's (CUSM) 2026 MD class has secured a residency position. The results show a strong preference for staying in California, with 80% of the new doctors choosing to train there. Many will also remain close to home in the Inland Empire region.
All 2026 MD graduates from CUSM successfully matched into residency programmes. A significant number will train at partner hospitals, with 28 students placed at CUSM-affiliated institutions. Seven of them will complete their residencies at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC).
The graduates earned spots in competitive specialties, including anesthesiology, surgery, ophthalmology, and obstetrics. While exact numbers for these fields are not publicly available, the placements reflect the programme's growing reputation. Nearly a third of the class—31%—will stay in the Inland Empire for their training. Beyond the region, others secured positions in competitive programmes across California and the US. The results highlight the university's success in preparing students for high-demand medical fields.
