CTET February 2026 Application Correction Window Opens At ctet.nic.in; Check Editable Field Here

The Central Board of Secondary Education has activated the CTET February 2026 application correction window from December 23. Candidates who applied before the deadline can edit select details on ctet.nic.in till December 26. The CTET 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted on February 8.

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2026 has seen a massive surge in registrations, with over 25 lakh candidates signing up. Organisers have now opened a correction window for applicants to review and update specific details in their submissions.

Registration numbers spiked in the final days before the deadline. On December 16, 1,93,182 candidates applied, followed by 3,53,218 on December 17 and 4,14,981 on December 18. The total count now exceeds 25 lakh applicants for the upcoming exam.

The correction window runs from December 23 to December 26, 2025. During this period, candidates can edit personal information such as their name, parents' names, date of birth, and gender. They may also update their category, address, contact number, email, paper choice, subject selection, and preferred language. However, exam city preferences cannot be altered. Applicants are also permitted to upload missing documents, including photographs, signatures, or other required files not submitted during the initial registration. All other fields in the application will remain locked and unchangeable. Corrections must be made through the official website, ctet.nic.in. The CTET February 2026 exam is scheduled for February 8, 2026.

With the correction window now open, candidates have a limited time to ensure their applications are accurate and complete. The exam itself will take place on February 8, 2026, following a record-breaking registration phase.
