The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2026 exam has drawn over 25 lakh applicants. Organisers have now opened a correction window for those who need to update their application details before the test date.
The correction window runs from December 23 to December 26, 2025. Candidates can edit key details such as their name, parents' names, date of birth, and gender. Changes to category, address, mobile number, email, paper choice, subject selection, and language preferences are also permitted.
Photograph and signature corrections are allowed, but certain fields remain locked. Applicants cannot modify their exam city preferences or adjust the application fee during this period. The CTET exam itself is scheduled for February 8, 2026. It consists of two papers: Paper I for Classes 1 to 5 and Paper II for Classes 6 to 8. Each paper features 150 multiple-choice questions and lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes. All corrections must be made through the official website, ctet.nic.in.
The four-day correction window gives candidates a final chance to verify their details. After December 26, no further changes will be possible before the February 8 exam. Over 25 lakh applicants are expected to take the test next year.
