The Eichenzell Cooperation Network is set to host an open workshop on Diversity on August 21, 2025, at the cafeteria of the AWO Quarter, Am Riedrain 9a, 36124 Eichenzell. This workshop aims to create an inspiring evening with impulses, conversations, and new perspectives, focusing on the challenges of dealing with diversity, questioning stereotypes, and developing ways to foster a respectful coexistence.

During the workshop, concrete ideas for an inclusive coexistence will be developed. The schedule for the event includes an arrival and exchange from 6:00 PM to 6:15 PM, followed by a welcome and news from the network from 6:15 PM to 6:30 PM. The main workshop, featuring impulses from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, will include a discussion of typical barriers to diversity, such as stereotypes, unequal opportunities, and unconscious biases.

Attendance to the diversity workshop is free, and registration is requested to ensure proper planning for snacks, drinks, and space. For questions and registration, please contact Mrs. Marielene Schmidt-Nohl, the Inclusion Networker Eichenzell, who can be reached at Phone: 0151 5227 1570.

According to the event organizers, diversity enriches the community, stimulates creativity, promotes the exchange of different perspectives, and contributes to fair opportunities for all. By acknowledging and valuing diversity, the event aims to create learning and working spaces where everyone feels safe, seen, and accepted. The event will conclude with a free networking session from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM.

The workshop will include a moderated reflection and exchange to broaden perspectives, with the aim of reflecting on the enriching potential of diversity and the opportunities it opens up for innovation and strengthening coexistence. The Eichenzell Cooperation Network encourages everyone interested in fostering a more inclusive and diverse community to attend this valuable event.
