City Administration Opens Applications for Traineeships and Study Programs for 2023

The University and Hanseatic City of Greifswald is accepting applications for traineeships and study programs in city administration for the year 2023. Interested parties can apply for these opportunities, which cover a wide range of tasks including personnel, construction, environment, sustainability, school, culture, social affairs, economy, security, finance, and more.

The selection process for the traineeships was competitive, with three successful candidates chosen from a pool of 46 applicants. The three trainees, who are being trained as administrative clerks, will gain insights into many aspects of the city administration, including school, culture, social affairs, economy, security, finance, and more.

Dr. Stefan Fassbinder, the Mayor, welcomed the trainees and the trainers, as well as the chairperson of the works council at St. Spiritus. He also thanked all employees involved in the training process.

Six young adults started their training today, with one man being trained as a street sweeper, one as a gardener, and another woman as a specialist for media and information services in the city library. The trainees who successfully complete their training have good chances of being taken on and securing career prospects.

Prospective applicants can find more information about traineeships and study programs at the city administration for 2023 on the city's official website. The application deadline for these programs has not been specified yet.

In addition to traineeships, the city administration also offers study programs for those interested in a career in city administration. Interested parties can apply for these study programs as well.

Dr. Stefan Fassbinder expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming trainees and study program participants, stating that they will be involved in various areas such as personnel, construction, environment, sustainability, school, culture, social affairs, economy, security, finance, and more. He looks forward to their contributions to the city administration.
