Cognita UAE schools shift to two-week remote learning for Term 3
Cognita Group's schools in the UAE will begin Term 3 with two weeks of remote learning starting March 23. The shift aims to ensure students maintain academic progress while supporting their wellbeing. A structured programme will blend live lessons, independent study, and personalised mentoring to keep education on track.
The new Learning Continuity and Connection Programme will combine virtual classes with pre-learning tasks and self-paced study. Younger students will have reduced screen time, with age-appropriate activities designed to limit digital fatigue. Daily timetables will provide routine while allowing flexibility for families in different time zones.
EnrichMe, a wellbeing partner, will offer additional programmes to support mental and physical health during remote learning. The school group will also launch online portals for parents, giving them access to schedules, learning resources, and technical help. Teachers will maintain regular contact with students to strengthen engagement. Clear communication with families will remain a priority, ensuring parents stay informed about their child's progress and any adjustments to the programme.
The initiative seeks to deliver uninterrupted education while reinforcing a sense of community. Structured routines, wellbeing support, and parent resources will all play a key role in the transition. Schools under Cognita will monitor the programme's effectiveness as Term 3 progresses.
