The ninth consecutive lecture series 'Climate Crisis and Sustainability' is set to commence this winter semester, organised by transzent, AStA, Students for Future Wuppertal, and the Wuppertal Institute. Kicking off on October 28, 2025, the series begins with a lecture by renowned author and podcaster Katja Diehl. Her talk, 'Out of the mobile cul-de-sac - into the liveable mobility of tomorrow', will delve into the challenges of the transport transition and sustainable mobility concepts. The series will explore topics such as climate change adaptation, resource conflicts, sustainable urban development, and technological innovations. It aims to discuss central questions of the climate crisis and possible solutions. The lectures will take place at 7:00 PM at the Pina Bausch Center, Bundesallee 260, 42103 Wuppertal. Students who have taken specific modules can have the lecture series credited towards their studies. For credit-related questions, students can contact [email protected] by email.
