In the heart of Nordhorn, a city in northwestern Germany, a special event took place. Mayor Thomas Berling hosted a breakfast to recognise and congratulate seven former apprentices who completed their training this summer.

Among the honourees were apprentices from various fields, including administrative professions, event management, logistics, media and information services, construction design, IT, and higher service. Notable apprentices included Marleen Kleinert, specializing in media and information services, and Simon Palmen, a construction designer.

The administrative assistant, Belana Voet, and her counterpart in higher service, Maike Klassen, were also in attendance. The logistics specialist, Maris Braakmann, and the event manager, Xenia Graef, added to the diverse mix of talents.

Kristin Koel and Lea Weidner, training managers, were instrumental in guiding these young professionals through their training. Kim Borzutzky, Melina Lorej, and Robin Bleumer, apprentices in various fields, were also part of the celebration.

Mayor Berling took the opportunity to inquire about the course of their training and the current areas of employment within the city of Nordhorn. However, no further details were given about the nature of the training or the specifics of the employment of the apprentices.

The breakfast served as a testament to the city's commitment to nurturing young talent. It also marked the beginning of a new chapter for these apprentices as they embark on their careers.

For those interested in joining the ranks of these talented individuals, the application deadline for an apprenticeship with the city of Nordhorn is September 29, 2025. The city looks forward to welcoming more young talents in the future.
