Chulalongkorn and Nanchang Universities Forge Landmark Academic Alliance
Chulalongkorn University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Nanchang University to boost international academic cooperation. The agreement was formalised on December 29, 2025, at a ceremony held in Jiangxi Province, China. Senior officials from both institutions attended the event, marking a significant step in their partnership.
The signing took place at Nanchang University, a leading institution in food science and technology. Ranked 8th in the US News: Best Global Universities Rankings 2026, the university brings strong expertise to the collaboration. Prof. Luo Sihai, Secretary of the Party Committee, hosted a reception to celebrate the occasion.
The MOU focuses on joint efforts in knowledge creation, research, and training. It also aims to develop academic networks and strengthen interdisciplinary research. Key areas include capacity-building for Thai scholars, researcher exchanges, and linking research outcomes to policy decisions. For Chulalongkorn University, this partnership reinforces its role as an academic hub. The agreement supports sustainable transformation at both regional and global levels, expanding the university’s international reach.
