The current state of student politics at Dhaka University, particularly concerning the Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU), is marked by complex developments following the Chhatra Dal's recent activities and broader student political dynamics.

Rakib, the Central President of Chhatra Dal, expressed hope for the administration to update them on banning secret student politics on campus by Saturday. The university administration has assured it will investigate those responsible for cyberbullying, creating instability through secret politics, and fostering a toxic campus culture.
However, as of now, the university administration has not yet taken any public action to ban secret student politics on campus. The discussion was held after a courtesy meeting with the DU Vice-Chancellor, and Rakib accused Islami Chhatra Shibir of attempting to take control of halls through covert politics, similar to past actions by Chhatra League.

However, secret or informal political activities by various student groups persist amid preparations for the upcoming DUCSU election, which is expected to reshape campus politics.
