Checks Initiated for Children's Playgrounds in the Auto Plant district Ahead of the New School Year
The Avtozavodsky district of Nizhny Novgorod is gearing up for the new academic year, with 71 kindergartens undergoing rigorous inspections as part of a city-wide campaign. The inspections, which run from August 4 to August 13, are aimed at ensuring the readiness of kindergartens for the new academic year, with a primary focus on safety and anti-terrorist protection.
District head Alexander Nagin confirmed that the inspections cover various aspects, including the content of educational programs, the level of digitalization of preschool education, and the introduction of modern technologies. The inspections are being conducted by the district administration.
In addition to safety measures, kindergartens No. 146 and No. 114 have been transformed, with the addition of patriotic museums, robotics centers, and animation studios. These innovative additions are expected to enrich the learning experience for the over 13,000 children served by the district's kindergartens.
While specific issues or problems with the kindergartens were not mentioned, the inspections suggest a commitment to maintaining and improving the quality of education and safety in the district's kindergartens.
In recent times, the governor of Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin, has mentioned that certain safety measures would remain in place as long as threats persist, likely referring to regional security concerns amid ongoing conflict in nearby Ukraine. This suggests heightened vigilance and possibly enhanced protective protocols in institutions including kindergartens.
Modern educational support is also evident in Nizhny Novgorod, with the Family Support Centre employing specialists to develop communication, social, and academic skills and promote independence in young children, including those with developmental challenges.
Notable improvements in the district's kindergartens include the installation of a new fence in kindergarten No. 110 by September 1 and the launch of a new emergency notification system in kindergarten No. 114. All kindergartens in the district have also undergone cosmetic repairs, and each now features video surveillance systems, emergency police call buttons, and emergency notification schemes.
The transformations and improvements in the district's kindergartens are part of a broader effort to provide high-quality, safe, and modern education for Nizhny Novgorod's children. As the academic year approaches, the district is well-prepared to welcome its students back to a safer and more engaging learning environment.
Education and self-development are prominent focuses in the improvements made to Nizhny Novgorod's kindergartens, as evidenced by the additions of patriotic museums, robotics centers, and animation studios that enrich the learning experience for children. Modern educational support is also evident with the Family Support Centre, which employs specialists to improve children's communication, social, and academic skills.
