Chandigarh University celebrates 719 online graduates at 7th convocation
Chandigarh University held its 7th Annual Convocation for online learners in 2025. Indeed, the ceremony saw 719 students receive undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Dnyan Shah, Senior Vice President and Global Head of HR at Mphasis Limited, attended as the Chief Guest.
The event marked a milestone for CU Online, where 597 postgraduate and 122 undergraduate students were awarded their degrees. Most graduates earned MBA (326) and MCA (175) qualifications.
During his address, Shah urged students to embrace lifelong learning and stay adaptable in a fast-changing technological world. He highlighted the importance of upskilling to remain competitive in the job market. Dr Raviraja N Seetharam, Vice-Chancellor of Chandigarh University, also spoke at the ceremony. He stressed the pivotal role of young professionals in driving India’s growth. The university reaffirmed its commitment to delivering high-quality online education, aiming to boost career prospects for its students.
The convocation recognised the achievements of 719 graduates in fields like business and computer applications.
