CCEAP's First Electric Truck Hits Philippine Roads, Slashing Emissions

Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines (CCEAP) has taken a significant step towards sustainability by introducing its first fully electric truck. This innovative vehicle will commence operations on delivery routes in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, marking a substantial reduction in the company's carbon footprint.

The electric truck, manufactured by a leading global provider, is set to cut approximately 54,000 kilograms of CO2 emissions annually compared to its diesel-powered counterparts. This integration of electric mobility into CCEAP's logistics is a testament to the company's broader sustainability agenda.

CCEAP's commitment to sustainability is not new. The company's 18 manufacturing plants across the Philippines already employ clean energy initiatives and world-class technologies. The Sta. Rosa Plant, in particular, has been recognized for its achievements in sustainability and water stewardship. With over 3,500 trucks and 2,000 service vehicles in its fleet, CCEAP is dedicated to delivering beverages in a more sustainable and energy-efficient way.

CCEAP's initiative aligns with Coca-Cola Europacific Partners' (CCEP) global climate goals. The company aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and achieve net zero by 2040. To support this, CCEAP has installed over 23,000 solar panels across its facilities nationwide, including the Sta. Rosa Plant.

CCEAP's first electric truck, now servicing routes in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, is a significant stride towards a greener future. By reducing emissions and embracing clean energy, CCEAP continues to demonstrate its commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices.
