CampusKnot Raises $1.1M to Revolutionize Teaching with AI Assistants
CampusKnot, an AI-powered teaching assistant platform, has secured $1.1 million in funding. The startup aims to expand its presence in the US, currently operating in 32 universities. It is praised by Dr. Alex Joubin of George Washington University for its innovative use of AI in education.
CampusKnot is already in use at the University of Mannheim and the University of Duisburg-Essen in Europe. It helps educators automate grading tasks, track student participation, and summarise discussions. Rahul Gopal, Co-founder and CEO, envisions making teaching more engaging and effortless through real-time student engagement using AI.
With the recent funding, CampusKnot plans to bolster its team by hiring new roles in sales, engineering, and customer success. This will support its expansion plans, which include scaling partnerships with VitalSource and Follett. These collaborations will provide access to over 1,000 campuses across the US.
CampusKnot's successful funding round signals growing interest in AI's role in education. With plans to expand its team and partnerships, the platform aims to reach more campuses and educators, making teaching more efficient and interactive.
