BUFT's Jannatul Firdaush Mim Wins Intra BUFT Public Speaking Competition 2025
The Career Development Club of BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT) concluded its Intra BUFT Public Speaking Competition 2025 with a grand finale held on October 27. The event was graced by the presence of Faruque Hassan, chairman of the BUFT board of trustees, and Professor Ayub Nabi Khan, acting vice-chancellor of BUFT. Jannatul Firdaush Mim, a student of the Department of Fashion Studies, emerged victorious, winning the championship.
The competition began with over a hundred students participating in the first two rounds held online. The final round saw Jannatul Firdaush Mim deliver a compelling speech to secure her title. Tamima Binta Islam and Md Ahsan Habib Babu were named the first and second runners-up respectively. The finale was attended by a distinguished panel of judges and special guests, including Mohammad Imtiaz, Sadman Sadik, and Asaduzzaman Joy, who commended the participants' eloquence and confidence.
The Intra BUFT Public Speaking Competition 2025, organized by the Career Development Club, provided a platform for students to hone their public speaking skills. Jannatul Firdaush Mim's victory is a testament to her exceptional oratory prowess, while Tamima Binta Islam and Md Ahsan Habib Babu's achievements highlight the strong talent pool at BUFT.
