Bielefeld's Catholic church launches a trombone choir for all skill levels

A new trombone choir has started at Catholic Bethlehem Church in Bielefeld. The group invites brass players of all levels to join weekly rehearsals. Both beginners and experienced musicians can take part in the sessions.

The choir meets every Wednesday at 7:15 p.m. at Catholic Bethlehem Church, located on Dietrich-Bonhoeffer-Straße 9. Players of all brass instruments—including trombones, trumpets, and tenor horns—are encouraged to attend.

New members can also receive one-on-one lessons tailored for beginners. The ensemble aims to create a welcoming space for musicians at any stage of their development.

For those interested in joining, Cantor Mathias Bertuleit is available for questions. He can be reached by email at [email protected] or by phone at +49 151 5343 7551.

The trombone choir provides an opportunity for brass players to rehearse together in a structured setting. Weekly sessions and individual lessons help participants develop their skills. Anyone looking to join can contact the church for further details.
