BFI Vienna’s Free Career Day Offers Workshops, Advice and Childcare

BFI Vienna is hosting a free open-day event on February 19, 2026, for anyone seeking career advice or continuous learning. Titled 'Continuing Education Day', the event offers workshops, expert advice, and even childcare for attendees. The theme, 'I Want More from Life', reflects its focus on personal and professional growth.

The event runs at BFI Vienna’s headquarters in the third district. Visitors can attend short inspiration talks and interactive power sessions covering career transitions, identifying fake news, and confident public speaking. Free professional application photos, including styling by a makeup artist, will also be available.

Personalised career counselling will be provided by advisors from BFI Vienna, the Vienna Employment Promotion Agency (waff), and the Chamber of Labor. One-on-one sessions on training and funding options will take place from 2:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Attendees booking BFI courses priced at €650 or more will receive a €200 discount. A raffle offers prizes such as a €100 LIBRO gift card, two Prater amusement park passes, a thermal spa voucher, and a Kindle e-reader. For parents, childcare services will include crafts, painting, and science experiments, ensuring children are entertained while adults explore opportunities.

The 'Continuing Education Day' provides free access to workshops, expert advice, and exclusive perks. Attendees can leave with new skills, professional photos, and potential discounts on further training. The event aims to support career changers and lifelong learners with practical resources.
