So is Corinna Harfouch's final appearance in the Berlin 'Tatort' - Berlin's Tatort Shaken as Corinna Harfouch Exits After Six Episodes

Berlin's Tatort will see a major change as Corinna Harfouch departs after just six episodes. Her final appearance in Gefahrengebiet (Danger Zone), airing on 1 February 2026, leaves detective Robert Karow to handle cases alone. The episode centres on a homeless man's death—first thought to involve a wolf, but later uncovered as murder tied to the preppers' subculture.

The story begins with the discovery of a homeless man's body in the Grunewald forest. Bite marks suggest a wolf attack, but investigators soon uncover a darker truth: the victim was murdered, with links to survivalist groups. Meanwhile, Susanne Bonard, played by Corinna Harfouch, faces an existential crisis in her last week on the force. Distracted by personal struggles, she joins a survival training course in the same forest, leaving her colleague Robert Karow to tackle the case alone at first.

The episode shifts focus from the crime itself to the detectives' personal journeys. Bonard's involvement in the preppers' world mirrors her own questions about humanity's place in nature and readiness for disaster. As the investigation unfolds, the case becomes secondary to her emotional farewell and Karow's growing independence.

With Harfouch's exit, Mark Waschke's character will take the lead in future Berlin Tatort episodes. No successor has yet been announced for Bonard's role as commissioner.

The Danger Zone episode marks the end of Susanne Bonard's short-lived tenure in Berlin's Tatort. Robert Karow will now solve cases solo, starting with at least one upcoming investigation. The murder plot, intertwined with survivalist themes, sets the stage for a new direction in the series.
