Bergisch Gladbach’s free youth festival *nachtfrequenz25* blends gaming, art, and music

Bergisch Gladbach will host a free youth culture festival on September 27, 2025, as part of the nationwide nachtfrequenz event. The festival, titled nachtfrequenz25, offers three distinct activities across different venues, all organised under the motto By youth, for youth.

The festival kicks off at midday with a Magic: The Gathering card game session at Q1 Jugend-Kulturzentrum, running from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Later in the evening, two more events take place simultaneously: an ArtLab open atelier at Atelier KLKS from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and a Hip Hop/Rap concert at UFO Jugendkulturhaus der AWO from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Despite initial confusion, no local hip-hop or rap artists are listed for the concert, and event schedules confirm no dedicated hip-hop or rap performances at the venue on that date.

The nachtfrequenz25 festival in Bergisch Gladbach will provide free access to gaming, art, and music for young attendees. While the hip-hop concert lacks confirmed local artists, the event still offers a range of creative and social activities. The festival continues the tradition of decentralised youth-led culture across North Rhine-Westphalia.
