Bangladesh's National University extends 2026 master's application deadline to March 16

The National University (NU) in Bangladesh has extended the deadline for online preliminary applications. Students now have until March 16, 2026, to submit their common app forms. The change aims to provide more time for those applying for professional master's programmes.

Applicants must complete the preliminary form through the official NU admission website. The process involves visiting www.nu.ac.bd/admissions and navigating to the prospectus or important notices section. All necessary instructions and details are available there.

Alongside the application, candidates need to pay a fee of Tk 1,000. The payment deadline is set for March 31, 2026, giving applicants two extra weeks after the common app submission cutoff. The university has not yet released details on how many affiliated colleges or institutions will offer these programmes for the 2026 academic year.

The extended deadline allows prospective students more flexibility in preparing their submissions. Those interested must ensure they complete both the common app and fee payment by the specified dates. Further updates are expected on the NU admission portal as the process continues.
