Bangladeshi students shine globally with Erasmus Plus scholarship success

Bangladeshi students have made a strong global impression with the Erasmus Plus scholarship, ranking third worldwide. To build on this success, Professor Masuma Habib, head of the international cooperation unit at the University Grants Commission (UGC) in Bangladesh, has called for increased awareness and expanded opportunities.

The Erasmus Plus Information Day programme, led by Professor Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain, aimed to broaden horizons for Bangladeshi students. It highlighted the benefits of studying at European universities, with a focus on higher education, research, and scholarship opportunities. Professor Habib, addressing the event, urged the EU delegation to further widen these global entry prospects, building on the success of Bangladeshi students who have already made their mark on the global stage.

The Erasmus Plus scholarship has proven popular among Bangladeshi students, with their global ranking reflecting their achievements. To continue this momentum, Professor Habib has called for increased awareness and expanded opportunities, with the EU delegation urged to play a significant role in widening access to European higher education.
