Baden-Württemberg Schools Get AI Chatbot 'telli' for Lesson Planning
Baden-Württemberg's schools now have access to 'telli', an AI chatbot designed to assist teachers in lesson planning and delivery. Developed by FWU as part of the AIS project, 'telli' ensures data protection compliance and is supported by ZSL, the School Administration Service Center, and a specialist group of teachers. FWU created 'telli' for the cross-state AIS project. It offers chat functions, personas, and learning scenarios to support teachers in preparation and during lessons. The application uses multiple language models and prioritises data protection, making it suitable for the education sector. The ZSL and the School Administration Service Center provide training and support for 'telli'. A dedicated group of teachers is also involved in its development. Currently, 'telli' is a basic version that will evolve based on user feedback. 'telli' is now accessible to all schools in Baden-Württemberg via the SCHULE@BW platform. It aims to simplify lesson preparation and organisation, offering a helping hand to educators through AI-powered chat functionality.
