AWS Community Day Bangladesh brings together over 300 cloud enthusiasts
The 4th AWS Community Day Bangladesh took place at BRAC University’s Badda campus on Saturday. Organised by the AWS User Group Bangladesh, the event brought together over 300 cloud professionals, developers, students, and tech enthusiasts. Its goal was to foster an inclusive cloud community and speed up cloud technology adoption across the country.
The day-long event was led by Mohammad Mahmud Hasan, a Machine Learning Engineer at Optimizely. He guided discussions and activities focused on cloud innovation and emerging technologies. Supporting him were Noor Afrin Ela, Strategic Development Manager at Brain Station 23, and Shahriyar Al Mustakim Mitul, an AWS Community Builder specialising in Machine Learning.
Ten expert speakers delivered sessions covering Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Security, and DevOps. Attendees also took part in a panel discussion titled *‘When everything is automated, what exactly becomes the new challenge for engineers?’* The panel featured Dr. Md Mizanur Rahman from Western Sydney University, Shadid Haque, and Shahzada Redwan. A highlight of the event was the Robotics Showcase, where students displayed their innovative projects. The showcase drew significant interest from participants and industry professionals alike. Amazon Web Services (AWS) powered the event, with sponsorship from Brain Station 23, Field Nation, Graaho Technologies, Tickiify, Adfinix, and BRAC University.
The 4th AWS Community Day Bangladesh successfully connected professionals, students, and tech enthusiasts. Through expert talks, panel discussions, and hands-on showcases, the event reinforced the importance of cloud adoption and automation in engineering. Organisers plan to continue expanding the cloud community in future editions.
