Apprenticeship speed-dating event kicks off at Borussia-Park with no registration needed
A speed-dating event for apprenticeships will take place on Tuesday, February 24, at Borussia-Park in Mönchengladbach. The gathering aims to connect young jobseekers with HR representatives from various industries in an informal setting. No prior registration is needed—participants can simply turn up and start conversations.
The event runs from 1 to 4 p.m. in the VIP Lounge at Borussia-Park (Hennes-Weisweiler-Allee 1). Organised by the Mittlerer Niederrhein Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) alongside other partners, it offers short, relaxed chats between candidates and potential employers. There will be no tests or formal selection processes.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a resume to help break the ice and guide discussions. A new partner, the Spielplan Zukunft – Your Path to a Career alliance, has joined this year's event. Launched by the North Rhine-Westphalia state government and Bundesliga clubs, the initiative supports young people entering the job market.
As an extra incentive, the venue will host a stadium tour and a raffle. Prizes include tickets to a Borussia Mönchengladbach home game. The event targets those seeking training positions starting this summer.
