The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has announced the eligibility criteria for the TSRTC Driver and Shramik Recruitment 2025. The recruitment drive aims to fill vacancies in these posts, and interested candidates can apply if they meet the specified criteria.
Driver Post
To be eligible for the Driver post, candidates must have passed the SSC or an equivalent examination. They should also possess a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle license and be aged between 22-35 years. The selection process for the Driver post includes a physical test, a driving test, and minimum qualifying marks of 50% for OCs, 45% for BCs, and 40% for SCs/STs.
The TSRTC Recruitment 2025 for the Driver post does not include a written examination but requires physical and skill-based tests. The driving test carries a total of 60 marks, with candidates needing to score at least 30 marks in aggregate and not score below the qualifying marks in three or more parameters.
Shramik Post
For the Shramik post, candidates must have an ITI in a relevant trade or a Centre of Excellence certificate. They should also meet the required medical standards and be aged between 18-30 years. The selection process for the Shramik post includes document verification and a merit list based on academic scores.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for the Driver post in TSRTC ranges from Rs. 20,960 to Rs. 60,680, and for the Shramik post, it ranges from Rs. 16,550 to Rs. 45,030. Employees selected through the TSLPRB will receive various allowances, including travel allowance, HRA, ESI, and PF, among others, provided by the government.
