Amagi unveils cutting-edge cloud broadcasting tools at IBC 2024

Amagi will present its newest broadcasting and streaming technologies at IBC 2024 in Amsterdam. The company's stand (5.B87) will feature live demonstrations of cloud-native solutions, disaster recovery tools, and advanced advertising systems. Visitors can explore innovations designed to streamline content creation, distribution, and monetisation.

One of the key highlights will be Amagi THUNDERSTORM, a server-side ad insertion (SSAI) solution powering scalable TV (STV) advertising. The system aims to improve ad targeting and delivery with minimal latency. Alongside this, Amagi ANALYTICS will be showcased for optimising content performance and ad campaigns through real-time audience and revenue insights.

Amagi will also debut the Disaster Recovery DR Box, an on-premises backup for its CLOUDPORT playout platform. This addition ensures uninterrupted broadcasting even during technical failures. The company will further demonstrate the integration of Tellyo PRO with CLOUDPORT, enabling users to log in seamlessly and push live content in real time.

A live operations centre at the stand will display the full glass-to-glass workflow, covering everything from production to distribution. The event will emphasise Amagi's cloud-based tools, including CLOUDPORT for playout, Tellyo STUDIO for remote production, and solutions for migrating ground-based systems to the cloud. These technologies are already in use by major broadcasters such as A+E Networks UK, ABS-CBN, and NBCUniversal.

Attendees at IBC 2024 can experience Amagi's full suite of solutions firsthand at Stand 5.B87. The demonstrations will cover live production, cloud migration, and monetisation tools. The event provides an opportunity for broadcasters to explore systems designed for efficiency, reliability, and real-time performance.
