Aktau's business community is stepping up to improve the city's public spaces, with several projects underway. While details on individual sponsorships remain limited, local leaders have praised entrepreneurs for their contributions. The efforts come as part of a broader push to enhance urban life ahead of Nauryz celebrations.

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev recently urged entrepreneurs to embrace social responsibility, calling it an honourable duty for those who have thrived in their hometown. His remarks followed earlier appeals from Aktau's mayor, who asked businesses to beautify their surroundings before the Nauryz holiday.

Some companies have already taken action. Holiday Inn and Saya Park have landscaped their properties and opened public leisure areas. Meanwhile, prominent figures like Sungat Munalbayev, Gulzhikhan Zakayeva, and Arkhimed Burkibaev have provided charitable and sponsorship support for local initiatives.

The city's administration backs these efforts, encouraging businesses to green and upgrade spaces around their buildings. Akim Abilkair Baipakov noted that many entrepreneurs and large firms contribute out of civic duty. This spirit of cooperation has been especially strong during crises, with both corporate leaders and residents rallying to support one another.

Among the most anticipated projects is the waterfront reconstruction, expected to revitalise the area. Plans also include renovating Akbota Park and developing an eco-park near Soldier's Beach as a modern recreational hub.

The city now moves forward with concrete plans, including the waterfront and Akbota Park upgrades. Businesses continue to play a key role in funding and implementing these changes. Residents can expect new public spaces and improved amenities in the coming months.
