A regional investigative department held a training session for professional and job-related training of department staff
A professional training session for staff of the Investigative Directorate in Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod Region has recently taken place. The programme aimed to enhance skills in digital investigative techniques and emergency medical response. Major General of Justice Viktor Ivanovich Vorobyov oversaw the continuing education initiative.
The event covered two key areas: digital transformation in crime investigation and tactical medicine. Associate professor Nikolai Letenkin led a lecture on the challenges posed by digital advancements in detecting and preventing criminal activity.
A practical session followed, focusing on first aid and self-care in emergencies. Dr. Yury Korotunov, from the *Disaster Medicine School*, guided participants through hands-on training in handling urgent medical situations. The broader goal of these sessions is to ensure investigators keep their expertise up to date. Regular professional development helps staff maintain high standards in their roles within the regional directorate.
The training combined theoretical instruction with practical exercises. Participants gained updated knowledge on digital investigative tools and life-saving medical techniques. The directorate plans to continue such programmes to support ongoing staff development.
