A literary journey through time marks Aspire Indian International School's Annual Day
Aspire Indian International School marked its Annual Day 2025-26 on December 21 with a celebration of literature and creativity. The event, themed The Timeless Tapestry of English Literature, brought together students, educators, and distinguished guests for an evening of performances and reflection.
The programme began with the Kuwait National Anthem, followed by a recitation from the Holy Qur’an. The evening then unfolded under the guiding metaphor of a Time Machine of Literature, transporting the audience through different literary eras. Students delivered standout performances as iconic figures like William Shakespeare, William Wordsworth, and George Bernard Shaw.
The theme itself was conceptualised by Principal Dr. Geetika Ahuja and scripted by Ms. Subi Dalbin. Vice Principal Ms. Husena contributed her creative vision and aesthetic sense, shaping the event’s artistic direction. Their efforts were supported by teachers, choreographers, coordinators, and technical teams, whose collaboration ensured the celebration’s smooth execution. Among the attendees were prominent dignitaries, including Chairman K. O. Mathew, Ms. Leelamma, and Dr. Navnit Gandhi. The evening closed with a Curtain Call, honouring the collective teamwork, student talent, and the intellectual richness of the performances.
The Annual Day 2025-26 highlighted the school’s dedication to blending education with artistic expression. Through performances, thematic depth, and meticulous planning, the event showcased both student achievement and the school’s commitment to fostering creativity.
