50 AMRS Students Ace Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics
The Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM)-2025 has concluded, with 50 students from Ajmal Modern Residential School (AMRS), Hojai, cracking the prestigious exam. Nowid Kawsar Tipu, the coordinator of the event at AMRS, played a pivotal role in the students' success.
The IOQM-2025, aimed at identifying and nurturing mathematical talent among pre-university students for the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), was conducted by the Mathematics Teachers' Association (India) in collaboration with Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE), Mumbai. The event was coordinated at AMRS by Nowid Kawsar Tipu.
The students' achievement was celebrated by Areef Ahmed, the principal of AMRS, who congratulated the successful students, their parents, teachers, and Tipu. The school's success was also acknowledged by Maulana Badruddin Ajmal, Sirajuddin Ajmal, Dr Khasrul Islam, Dr MRH Azad, and Abdul Kadir, who extended their greetings to the students, parents, teachers, and principal.
The 50 students from AMRS have secured a place in the next round of the IOQM, moving a step closer to representing India at the International Mathematical Olympiad. Their success is a testament to their hard work, the dedication of their teachers, and the support provided by the school and its leadership.
