Tribhuvan University Announces 4th Year Supplementary Exam for BBS, BA, BSc, and BEd Students

Tribhuvan University (TU) has opened the form submission for the Bachelor's 4th Year Supplementary Exam (2080) under the annual examination system. This opportunity is for students from the faculties of Humanities, Management, Education, and Science and Technology who have failed up to two subjects in the 2080 exams.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, students must be regular 4th-year students of the 2080 batch. They must have passed the first, second, and third years. The supplementary exam is conducted according to the 4th-year exam roll number of 2080 examinations.

Exam Form Filling

The application period usually lasts for seven days. For the 2080 chance exam, it was from 20 Mangsir to 26 Mangsir 2081 (Nepali calendar). Exam forms must be submitted within this period to be eligible. Online entry for exam applications typically starts from 31 Baisakh 2081; late entries are accepted until 5 Jestha 2081 with a double fee penalty.

Exam Fees

The exam fee is Rs 1000, the exam application fee is Rs 100, the exam center fee is Rs 150, practical exam fee is Rs 200 for one subject and Rs 300 for two or more subjects, fieldwork/term paper fee is Rs 300, and education training fee is Rs 350.

Exam Centers and Procedures

Students must appear at assigned centers (one center in each province). Practical exam marks of absentees and unsuccessful students must be submitted subject-wise at the Exam Office (Balkhu) within the application period. Use of electronic gadgets like mobiles and smartwatches inside exam halls is prohibited. The exam dates are generally not postponed without prior university notice.

Exam Schedule

For BA, BSc, BEd, and BBS fourth year exams, regular and partial exams start around Jestha 2081 (May-June 2024 Gregorian calendar). Practical exams usually take place about one month after the main exam concludes at affiliated colleges.

Submission Deadline

The deadline for form submission is Mangsir 26, 2081. No late submissions will be accepted. Students are encouraged to contact their respective campuses or visit the official TU Exam Office website for further updates.

This is a one-time opportunity for eligible students. Detailed information and instructions can be found on the Tribhuvan University Exam Office website: www.tuexam.edu.np. All subjects from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Years must be cleared by 2081/08/19. Students are allowed to fail no more than two subjects (including absentees) in the regular 4th Year exam.
